i decided that we hadn't done enough activities in the last few weeks, and i was pretty sure evan was bored out of his mind. so, this week i made portable sandboxes for each of them and evan was allowed to "paint" a sheet. minus a few tears (from grace...having a rough afternoon), everything was a huge hit!
| she loved finding sand in her backyard just like the beach. but it was all fun and games until she tried to eat a handful. then it was all tears, sips of water and a nap. |
| my little busy bee! building castles and smashing them in his little sandbox was just as much fun as he remembered from the beach. but this beach cost $6...the other beach was a little bit more expensive! |
| for evan, a spray bottle alone provides hours of entertainment (and a few minutes of terror for tillie when she becomes his target). add some food coloring and hang up a sheet, and you get sheer excitement and a few moments to sit and catch my breath for mommy! |
| after all that fun, we had to add in some chores....those ended up being fun too! its a win-win for everyone. he burns off some energy, and we get a sparkling clean wagon |
