More pics of (and in) the house!

More new furniture!!! Our furniture that we bought from Havertys (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!!) arrived yesterday!!! It is a Queen sleeper sofa, an accent chair (striped one), a giant cocktail ottoman (hooray for no more bumps and bruises on E's head!!), and another big chair (next pic)
action shot of tillie kisses...little e is complete amazed by tillie. he runs after her (she typically runs away and grumbles), and he just laughs and laughs and laughs at her

Inside house pics!

Its starting to come together!

The Kitchen....I still try to cook on the smallest counter section to the left of the stove because I'm not used to having all this counter space!
the dining room and our new table!!
the loft...for now. bret calls this "his" room and we plan on getting some new furniture at some point.

Evan's bathroom

11 months old!

Wait that can't be right. Our baby is really almost a year old???

Its starting to come together...

Getting the perfect tools for Daddy to put together the new table

Going to help Daddy tighten the screw and make sure he is doing it right I think he is worried that Daddy isn't doing it the right way....E might have a future in Quality Control!
Even thought it appears that Bret is holding Tillie back, this was actually a very cute interaction between Tillie and Evan. Tillie was giving E kisses, but I was too slow to get an action shot!

Old toys re-appear!

Evan's new nursery is a few times bigger than his old nursery which means some toys have re-appeared in the nursery for a little bit until we put them into storage or find another home for them. Evan is quite ok with this concept, and enjoys climbing into his bouncer. Clearly he is too big for it!

Moooving!

We are MOVED! We'll at least our stuff is. I have a few more days to wrap up with cleaning and working in Mariemont, but we are getting closer! Here are a few shots of the weekend
E! Hanging out in what used to be Evan's nursery
Love this picture! Evan is quality control for Grandpa Wayne. Careful! We are re-using those Grandpa!
Organized Chaos. Side note - moving down, we used this same size truck, but also had to put stuff in a van, a navigator and a car. Jeff got all our stuff on the truck this time! And we had a TON more!
All empty! As you can see by the dirty floors, I have my work cut out for cleaning this week.

Back of the truck on the way out of Mariemont! Evan and I followed Bret (in the truck), Jeff & Pam followed us, Phil followed them, and my dad rounded out our moving caravan!

Home Sweet Home! As you can see...we lucked out with our weather! Yes, it was cold, but the sun helped the helpers stay a bit warmer. And, it could have been much worse!

This is Evan saying...why are you putting furniture in here. Its perfect the way it is!

New (some old) toys...

My boss gave Evan some of her son's toys that he was "outgrowing". He LOVES them, and it was nice to have Christmas all over again. I am noticing a common theme with the new toys and toys that are geared to his age...LOUD. And, of course, our little man likes them the louder the better! This one actually has a song that stops E dead in his tracks. If you play it, he will stop on a dime and start dancing. Of course, now that I have said that...he will never do it again. You may have noticed this toy in his 10 month pictures...he just does laps around it! AND, this is his FAVORITE toy and the reason our laundry room/pantry door will always stay closed. I have a hunch that he is going to be a neat freak just like his Daddy...HOORAY!!!!

Picture Time!

Well, the GOAL was to get E's pic taken at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months by a professional photographer. 3 months just didn't happen. 6 months, we were about a week or so off. AND, then came (and went) 9 months. After multiple scheduling obstacles, we finally got some pictures taken by the same photographer that took his 6 month pictures. We spent the majority of the time in his nursery which happens to be the only room in the house not being overtaken by boxes!

The photographer, Robert Hogan - No. 9 images, already has some of his favorites posted on this blog. Not bad since he took the pictures 3 days ago! Feel free to check them out....http://www.no9images.com/blog/
