first plane ride!

on our way out to palo alto, ca for aunt kate and uncle brian's wedding! his sleeper says let's travel! and he did an amazing job!!! only a short meltdown (less than 5 min) b/c he couldn't get his nap started on our very first (of 4 flights). he didn't even open his eyes from his nap on our flights back from ca. i guess plane rides mean sleepy time to him!

It takes a village

You know the saying it takes a village to raise a child (courtesy of ms. clinton)? I actually think that it should be it takes a village to raise and to teach a mommy how to be a mommy and raise a child. I am soooo lucky that I have such wonderful mommies in my village that are great at listening and dishing out fantastic advice!!! I am learning so much each and every day, and I'm gaining confidence every day from the confidence of those around me, supporting me!
