We have been doing a rain dance for what feels like MONTHS now. We were dancing for rain, and we did get rain on Friday. We also got a little bit more than that. I think the person directing the rain had a sense of humor, and we are making a solid attempt to understand that humor as we pick up the pieces of our mangled fence! The storm also took out the top of one of our trees. Bret picked it up and exclaimed, "Hey! Now we have our Christmas tree!" since it was a decent chunk off the top! The winds picked up and tossed our storage bin for all of our seat cushions, and then it distributed the cushions throughout our yard and our neighbor's yard. Our glass top for our table also ended up in a million pieces throughout our deck and landscaping. It was a wild storm to say the least!
