What a GREAT Mother's Day weekend! Bret got to run the Indy Mini on Saturday, and he had a great time completing the race with his friends. Evan must have really understood that it was Mother's Day (or some day special for Mommy) because he went to bed with ease on Saturday night, AND he slept in (this means 7:30am to us) for the first time since making the move to the big boy bed. We spent the morning just the "4" of us and then headed over to Grammy and Packaw's house for the afternoon.
Evan helped Packaw get rid of some of those weeds!
Took a spin on the porch on his new bike
Paused to blow some bubbles
"Mowed the grass" with Packaw on his fancy new lawn mower (or tractor if you ask Evan). He requested to go on the "tractor" three times this afternoon
Taking a very forced picture with me....he would have rather stayed on his bicycle or really any other activity except maybe getting his diaper changed
And because Phil passed his boards, Bret got another promotion and Mother's Day, we toasted with Mimosas. Evan and I just stuck with the OJ part, and he clearly enjoyed it! He must feel deprived since I tend to only give him milk or water. He even got his own little wine glass which was a big hit. This is mid toast by my Dad : )
